Jensen Radio

Well, my original Jensen radio with the rear view camera finally cratered after 10 years...... Started freezing up and I'd have to totally unplug it to "reboot" it.... That got old really fast....

Just had a new Jensen VX3026 installed.... Couldn't use the old read-view camera because it was specific for the old radio.... Not that important because I'm not interested in a "back-up" camera..... I want a "rear-view" camera.... I believe I've found a great one in the Hyndsight Journey unit.... It's a 100% wireless unit so no wires to pull and camera can be hardwired.... Not cheap BUT you truly do get what you pay for....

Will order it and have it FedExed to our next "long-stay" CG....

nice radio- I think I would miss the rear camera, I do not use the side cameras at all.

But I like your idea of a better rear camera.

Yea!!!!! New wireless color rear-view camera finally installed.... covers 120 degrees in rear of coach so that should allow me to keep up with what’s going on back there as I’m rolling down the highway....

Keep us posted with your set up. I have the same old set up and it is starting to act up and will have to upgrade. Did your radio fit in the old slot? Thank you in advance.

ernest are you sure that it is a hyndsight journey cam. i look on the web sight and it dont look like yours.. i need to replace mine. the jensen keeps on going on and off/ but the turn cam works when it is acting up. and does the jensen vx3026 have the turn cam?

Po 185.....

You are sooooo correct.... I ended up with a Tadi brothers unit....

Much cheaper than hyndsight unit and sooo much easier to install....

Glad u caught that.... sorry.... (after talking to the hyndsight folks and the Tadi brothers folks, felt much more confident with the Tadi brothers.....
