I got a 50 footer. Seems about right for moving around the entire coach.
One thing it took a while for me to learn though. A regular air chuck that you have to hold on the stem makes the process long and difficult.
Then I got an air chuck similar to shown below and now it's a breeze.

I carry a 50' air hose.

I also carry a 50' hose. It isn't long enough to reach the toad but I can easily reach all the Moho tires.

This is the system I use. I also have 50 feet of additional air hose I had until I got fed up trying to use the air chuck.

Does that lock on in some way? I have one very similar to it...

Yes it does kind of. Holding it slightly to the side locks it on. Release side pressure and it pulls right off. Works very well

Thanks. I'll play around with mine and see if it does the same. My Viair came with a locking connector that I flip a piece and it latches onto the valve stem. But, I still use my straight/dual chuck a fair amount.

Originally had one of those with the piece that flips that is supposed to lock on. I still had to hold it on with my hand until it got sore. It just wouldn't hold well on my extensions.

I like the screw on fitting that comes with the viair. It works well.

Yes, confused. Where do you get the fancy screw on thing (link). The only screw on valve's I have seen before work on bicycle pumps. This one looks very nice.

And how do you connect it to your coach's air compressor?

Seemed like a great solution. Can you help me get it all set-up? Much appreciated

Dan, it comes with the VIAIR set up. It has a male air chuck fitting on the end.

I could never use something like that as the compressor low limit is below my required pressure so I would be there for months and never reach the correct pressure. My air has a low limit of about 90-95 psi and I run 105 psi in my tires. It would be a MAJOR P.I.T.A. for me! It may ok for a trailer but not a Motorhome.

For factory service. NO you don't "have to go to a rally" to get service. In fact, at the rally they have so many people/units to service I am sure the techs would much rather have your unit at the factory where they can take a little bit more time on the repair. Your best rule of thumb on what the factory will and will not do is to hear it ONLY from the factory. That way you know you are getting the truth.

I'm going to take photos of our step cover repair job that the dealer's service department did and send them to the factory. Will be speaking with them. We don't mind paying for it as long as it looks like it's supposed to!

Glad to know what length of air hose to get too! That was going to be my next question.

The Mrs. is so psyched about driving the Berk. She also wants to practice driving my Exped. w/trailer. Told her sure, but only with it empty. Plus she's insisting on learning the MH hook-ups too. That teaching/learning curve ain't gonna last long.

My " trailer" tires are 110 psi......

This compressor is 150psi max.

Paul is correct. Comes with the 400p RV.

My trailer tires are 125 psi and the Viair 450P does a great job airing them up. 12v, so it could be used on a motorhome or trailer.

I didn't get the same fitting as Kenny Kustom with mine, though. Just a clip on fitting. But it sounds like it may not have enough bite with extensions. I also carry a second dual head chuck like Dan mentioned that might work.

Seems like a few ways to skin a cat. If you have on-board air and it'll push air into a tire- there seems to be no need for an external air compressor (or there might- no idea, I don't have it). But the various attachments might be useful.
