Kingdome satellite while driving?

I am teying the kingdome satellite while driving for the first time. Am I forgetting to do something because as soon as I start to move I lose the signal! Will be a long 7000 mile trip for kids without Dish. Already missed the cavs game last night!!

Just a thought. I think there is a track mode and stationary mode that is selectable. If there is you are selecting track mode I assume.

Yes please post the procedure you used. There are actually two procedures in the manual.

Good luck with it, I can't even get the stationary one to work.

I followed the directions in the manual, except I was pushing the triangle button in the cabinet the wrong direction. There are two switches in the cabinet. The on switch and the other one. Once you connect you push the other switch down to lock in.
