Kitchen Sink Discharge Hose

Has anyone ever replaced it?

During our trip to Florida this week, we found the hose has a crack.

Not sure if this is a job for me or the repair shop!

I'm an amateur plumber, and here's my approach to indoor projects: don't work on anything where the leak would run onto a lower floor, and don't work on something where my wife will need it to work that same evening (usually, when she's home, this is the kitchen sink and master bath)

So, the waste line for the sink is probably not putting anything but your basement storage items at risk, and, if you're not staying in the rig right now, I'd say try to fix it yourself. If you can't, you can call a professional, which is where you would be anyway if you don't try it alone.

I read this and I'm sorry I have no idea what the discharge hose is.

So it's the flex hose connecting the drain in a slide? That should be doable. I bet you will need to be limber.
