Kitchen slide awning

Has anyone had a problem like this in the attached photo? I don't have a ladder so it's not a real great shot, but this is the leading edge of the awning roll that apparently due to it not rolling up tight and then shoved back from air during driving? I'm just guessing, it was not like that the last time we closed it. Since then we've driven more than 3 days. I hope it is an easy fix, but for now I am afraid to extend slide, for fear of getting it stuck.

I would try to run it out a little at a time and see if it corrects itself.

Had that happen last year after a wind storm.

I opened the slide & got my son on a ladder at on end & me on the other.

We unwound the awning (it's spring loaded) & then let it slowly rewind.

Problem solved.

Thanks ceedog, I will try that when I'm on level ground again.
