Leaky valve

The washer valve on the outside bay of our coach is leaking this morning!
Anyone know where to pick up the plastic seating that's inside?

If it's out of the bottom threaded area I'd use Teflon tape.

Do you know what it looks like? Home Depot or Lowes may carry something that can be used.

All I can suggest is if you can see a name brand on the valve itself and try to order on from the company or contact FR for it. Looks like some teflon tape was added at one point.

Yes I added Teflon tape to the threads however it leaks from the top. Heading to a RV store now!

You'll need a pex crimper to re-attach a new valve to the line if you replace it with the same... They may have a compression style one that might fit and not require pex tools

Thanks for the tips! When the tech filled the tank he overfilled it blowing out the diaphragm causing it to leak from the vent! I found a two stage regulator and replaced it today. All's well.
Lesson learned: observe the guys filling my propane so they don't overfill and carry a extra two stage regulator on the coach!
Thanks again
Stephen

Stephen,
Not sure how they can over fill the tank. The hose that they use (at least the ones at Flying J) has a nozzle on it that shuts off when the tank is full like the nozzle on a gas pump. How did you arrive at the conclusion that it was overfilled?

Are you sure it's not an "O" ring or washer?
