Looking for serpentine belt!

I am stuck in Oak Ridge TN, and mechanic is having a hard time finding a serpentine belt for my 2014 390bh. Click image for larger version

Freightliner is telling him they are on back order???

Anyone have any ideas on where to go next? Or, anyone willing to sell a spare?

Thanks,
Mike

I would go to Napa, if they don't stock it, you should get it the next day or they can cross ref. It. There very good about that. It's worth a try.

A Google search seem to find several of them. Here is one place that is located in Tennessee also.

Pay for both. Keep the second one for a spare. If the belt is 1/8 inch longer, that's really only 1/16" movement on the pulley tensioner (1/16" on each of the two sides reaching it). You can run that belt indefinitely. No need to change now.

Never forget, you can use Amazon or E-bay, and have it delivered to the tech next day! Glad your back on the road again!

Cheers David

belt

that number crosses to a Dayco 50-80920 belt. There is probably a Gates belt that crosses to also. Find a parts store like Napa, autozone etc and you may get lucky. Napa has a very good rep for getting things fast.

How many miles on your Berk. The A/C Compressor seized our 2011 Berk at 19,000 miles in Lordsburg, NM. We were not using the Dash A/C. 178 mile Wrecker tow to Tucson Freightliner.

49,000 miles on it!? The diesel mechanic was able to fix the belt and compressor where we broke down. The wrecker that came to tow me said “let me find you a mechanic to come to you so you don’t have to pay for a tow”!! Had to beg him to take $40 bucks for coming out and finding me the mechanic!
