Lost

Does anybody know what this little black pump is and what it does. It is located in the front electrical locker underneath the drivers seat on the outside of the coach. Started the coach today and this thing is making a terrible noise. Can I disconnect for now?

If it runs all the time you have a vacuum leak somewhere in your heating system your vacuum hose is probably dry rotted or fallen off .
