Haven't stayed there, but I have heard it is nice.
Some other Louisiana Campgrounds you may want to consider are:
Cajun Palms RV Resort (cajunpalms.com) or
Poche's RV Park (pochesrvpark) (pronounced: PO-SHAY) both of these parks are in Breaux Bridge, La which is close to Lafayette, La. (right in the middle of Cajun Food Country!)
For a little closer to New Orleans (about 1 hour away) : off of I-12 coming from the Northern part of the State: Reunion Lake RV Resort (reunionlakerv.com) a very nice gated park, concrete sites, nicely spaced, clubhouse with bar and grill.
Or for an even closer to New Orleans park: Ponchartrain Landing RV Park (Ponchartrainlanding.com) is only about a 15-20 min drive into downtown New Orleans.
If money is no object and you want to be in the heart of the city: French Quarter RV Resort (fqrv.com) Like any big city, be careful if you stay in the downtown area.
I hope this info helps.
