Love the coach....hate the mattress!
Our "upgraded" pillow top mattress is not a very comfy upgrade. Has anyone replaced their mattress and loving it?!! Would appreciate any suggestions!

We purchased a 2inch memory Foam topper. This added to the stock Berk mattress is more comfortable than our $3500 mattress at home. Only down side is it likes to slide off over time

My wife and I did the same. Got a mattress topper at Costco on-line. What a difference!
Sent from my iPhone 'cause I'm probably out in the RV!

Yep Mattress Toppers are the way to go. Having had 3 back surgeries I need something semi comfortable to sleep on.

Try out IKEA. We bought a full queen, many to select from, not heavy, shrink wrapped and air squeezed out to transport. Right at $300 give or take depending which one you want. Way less than CW. Put on top of existing mattress. Wife liked it so much, we (I) ended up buying a second one for house. On a short queen, slide down so foot of mattresses are even

We have replaced the mattres in every camper we've owned. We got a Serta memory foam with cool gel this time and it's so nice.

We have the sleep number at home and bought one for the rv after a two week trip with the mattress that came with the rv.

Memory foam topper made a big difference. To minimize any sliding around, we attached sheet "suspenders" from one side of the fitted sheet to the other side of the fitted sheet on the underside of the mattress. Keeps it nice and snug!

Nathan,
I took a chance and ordered a queen memory foam mattress for RV's from a company on ebay. My wife and I have been very happy with it and the good thing is that we only spent around $300.00. Here is the link: foammattressdiscounts on eBay. Good luck in your search.

Nathan, I should have added that we purchased the 10" short queen medium memory foam mattress. I also have a 16 38A.

After selling RV's for 35 plus years I can tell you that very few people are ever satisfied with the mattress no matter what brand or Price. And I am sure most of us have gone through several mattress's at home before finding one that suits the wife and yourself. It's a no win situation picking a standard mattress for production. We ended up with a sleep number so we each are comfortable on our side. AND its about 40 lbs. lighter in weight. lift bed raises very easily per Mama.

Forget the mattress toppers - buy a real replacement mattress and you will sleep better. We've dumped the manufacture supplied mattresses in our last three units!

We had a custom mattress made to spec. Our cost was the best $700.00 I've spent. Sleep just like I do at home.
Check with one of your local manufacturers, you won't be disappointed.
Not sure why FR can't install a quality mattress in an RV.

Don't know why the RV manufactures are providing the customer with CHEAP Tires and Mattresses. We pay thousands for this kind of treatment, I guess we are sheep...........

We added a 2" memory foam pad to ours under the existing front (tongue) mattress in our Flagstaff Mac 206 LTD and it made a lot of difference. The top comes down with only a little extra pressure to clamp. This pad is a bit heavy though, and it increased our tongue weight. We now put it on top of the double bed in the back, hanging over into the living compartment a bit for traveling. This offloads and counterbalances the weight on the tongue.

Ok I was wrong; that was our last camper. Now we have the Spring Air with the cool gel memory foam. Queen size. Had to add a 3ft piece of plywood for the lower support because the queen size was a little longer. Very comfortable.
