magellan roadmate rv9490t-LMB

has anyone used one of these? Magellan road mate rv 9490t-LMB and if so how do you compare it to the Garmin rv 760, and the rand McNally rv 7720
I have the Garmin and the rand McNally . I use the rand McNally and the wife uses the Garmin, that way I can ask her to find stuff while I still driving.

My wife and I rely on a pair of iPads. Upgrades are always free and the choices of mapping apps are endless. And the best part is the equipment is multifunctional.

Timely post I was just doing some research on this topic and found most reviews DO NOT speak highly of Magellan major complaints are customer service and lag of tech support. Garmin, Rand McNally and even Tom Tom had better reviews.

If you have an iPad the Rand McNally software has a $99 app that you can download. I did, but didn't like the way it worked so I bought the RV version of the Garmin. It works great.

I can tell you the Rand McNally sucks! I just bought a smaller Garmin for the toad and after seeing it work, Garmin is my new best friend when I replace the RV unit.

I got the Nuvi 2597LMT for the toad. Fantastic so far! Been looking at the 760 LMT for the RV but gave the Rand McNally one last shot this past week, then checked out the M4 that came with the Legacy. Not satisfied with either of those but the 760 is getting very good reviews. On a side note, I got the 2597 for the toad because I could add the BC30 backup camera to it. The camera should be here Monday so no report on it yet.
