Magnum Inverter Remote Dead

Hello all. I have a friend with a recently purchased 2012 390BH. The inverter/charger appears to be working fine (green light and fan running at the inverter), but his remote inside the coach is completely dead. I verified it is plugged into the inverter, did not see any fuse associated with it in the forward compartment and could not find anything in the manual to help me. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance. -Glenn

No other ideas but why don't you give magnum a call? They can probably help with this.

Thanks Tom, that is the next step he is pursuing I was just checking here to see if someone else might have had the same issue in the past. -Glenn

Take a close look at the top of the inverter. If you see a red indicator (not lit up, you'll need a flashlight), the inverter's breaker has tripped.

Thanks Ceedog, is that "red indicator" near (or on) the two mini breakers or near the green light that is closer to the center of the coach?

The indicator will be on top of the inverter towards the right front corner.

As I recall my remote went dead when I inadvertantly disconnected it. The inverter was still working fine, but there was nothing to be done for the remote. Ordered a new one, plugged it in and that was it.

Thanks Andre. I did verify that his current remote was plugged in at the inverter, but I did not take it out of the wall to see if maybe something was disconnected behind it. -Glenn
