On our 2013 Berk I do know there is a recall on the jack pads. When ours was new we lost all for Pads on our maiden trip. I didn't know it til we spent a night in a truck stop in North NV., when I pulled the jacks up in the morning I heard a metal clank noise as they stopped. So Pulled forward a got out an looked on the ground and there was a jack pad, picked it up threw it in the bay and looked at the others and they were long gone. We got back home a few weeks later and it went in to the shop and the service people said there is a un announced recall on the ones we had.
The noise we're talking about is a "clicking" noise..... Not at all a loud BANG. So you may have another issue.
I think it's odd that you had a "recall"; the jack pads should never have been on your 2013 in teh first place.
The flimsy pads you got on your coach, have been known to Eq Sys since at least 2012. My coach "punched thru" those pads making a heluva noise and rocking the coach violently. They replaced the pads with beefed up ones and I've had no problems since.
Phil, my seals haven't started leaking yet, so I suspect the MMO will be just fine. As I said, it has cured ALL my hydraulic ills.
MMO can even be used to free up mechanical parts that are even "frozen" together; kinda like liquid wrench. For $5-6 per quart, it beats the H out that "anti-stiction" fluid mentioned several months ago. That stuff was about $60 per gallon at NAPA.
