More Girard HW Gen 2 whoes

My Girard just started to go "clunk clunk" along with it, the red light would light and shut off. When I turned the HW heater off, the light went out, but the "clunk clunk" continued.

Anyone have this problem or heard of it ?

Disregard I found the problem. The hot water in the shower was partially on causing the cut off switch to throw in and out.
