My vacuum install

The DW and I just finished putting in a Hideaway central vac.
We mounted it under the bed, wired the hose and switch plug to the foot of the bed, and added a 110 plug from one on the side.

The hose and all stores really nicely on top of the board under the bed!

And it almost looks factory! :-)Click image for larger version

Nice job! No doubt you will enjoy it as much as vacuuming can be enjoyed. At least it will be convenient.

That is great. We are wanting to instal one in ours. Thanks for the ideas. I was thinking of installing it in the basement but this is much better.

We just removed the board that was covering the space under the bed, and put the main unit in there. Just remember when you place the unit to leave room to remove the filters and bags without having to unscrew it!

Hideaway CV-200 MasterVac. We bought it used on eBay a few years ago.

Very nice. Do you know how it compares to the Red Devil?
