Not in the infield. I've been in the infield but not with my Berk. I don't do the infield anymore because it takes forever to get out.

Gee, seems that maybe you could have found something to while away a few hours - or even Overnight - since you were already sitting IN your Home on Wheels!!

Looks good Chris. Nothing like being there.
I think after yesterday and more I'm about done with NASCAR. I hate the chase. Hate it and the new chase is even worse. I can't believe they didn't finish the race yesterday. And yes I'm a 88 fan but he lost out several races ago. It's just lost the fun for me. To much chase crap.

Ending a 500 mile race on a caution seems dumb to me.

Nascar is in big trouble, even before yesterday.
They better fix it quick or forget it.
I don't even bother to try to find it amongst 500 channels, anymore.....
It's buried in there somewhere, I hear.
I've been to races, but never camped......the races are alittle far from North Idaho for that.

We will be there with a large group called Speedway Infield Crazies. To find us just look for a upside down pirate flag. Click image for larger version

No infield but right outside turn 2 at Homestead for the past 5 years. No services (although there are water and pump out trucks circulating every day.) It has always amazed me that many of our colleagues can't go 2 days without a cord and a sewer.

We always leave on Monday morning with absolutely no traffic. Great experience. As a bonus it is right next to the helicopter pad.

Are there any 5er people that park in the infield at the races or just people in the motor homes? I've considered taking my 5er but didn't know if people did that.

I've been to races and have seen everything from Motorhomes to people sleeping in the back of a pickup. I think I remember some tents as well but someone else can verify that.
