need a little help in Estes Park

First trip of the year and everything is working fine except for the hot water heater. we have a 2011 Berkshire 390BH and the hot water heater is not working on electric or gas. The stove top has gas and lights but i can not get the water heater to fire on gas or electric..

Help me save the trip wife needs her hot shower...

first trip if the year after being winterized?

Are your by-pass taps in the right position. That would give you a no hot water from both electric or propane.

Hope you figure it out.

We have only taken our trailer out three times so far. I went to take a shower. Never got hot. I finally realized someone had turned off the hot water switch maybe thinking it was a light???

Does the heater start 3 times on gas before the light goes on indicating shutdown and needing a reset?

I figured it out the hot water by-pass was on but the valve below was open sending cold water.

We now have hot water thanks for the help

The hot water bypass should NOT be open. It should be closed and the valves sending water into and out of the heater should be open. With it open the water can bypass the heater, hence it's name.

Is yours a tankless heater (that's what we have in our 2011 Berkshire 390RB)? Ours has been a problem, but I have a couple fixes if you've a Girard product.
