Not the first and won't be the last. Call FR, I am sure they will take care of you.

When I needed a door for my Berkshire earlier this year I contacted Suzi Schinabarger at Forest River Diesel Division. Her email is sschinabarger@forestriverinc.com She was very helpful and made sure I got the right door based on year, model and Vin number. The door comes primed white with the key latch and latches installed. All you have to do is have it painted and installed. The cost was less than I expected.

Don't be to hard on yourself. There is plenty of time to make you think this is minor.

Besides you're in good company.

Shayne, don't be too hard on yourself brother. Most of us have had an RV "oops" and those that haven't probably will. Just one of those things that goes along with being an RV owner. You'll get her fixed up and good as new soon.

Thanks all...still beating myself up. Marty, I appreciate the info. I emailed Suzi and she responded the next day. Door will set me back almost $400 including shipping. Still have to have it installed and painted, but at least my inverter will be covered now lol.

I try as much as I can to not do stuff like that but I'm sure it will happen someday. Only mishap I've had was making a really tight turn with my Kubota tractor and taking out the steps with the 3-point hitch sidearm. Completely destroyed the steps in about a half second. Thanks to eTrailer had it completely replaced in two days for about $130.
