Need DVD player

Hello all. We purchased our 2013 390RB in December. Everything is working great and we are enjoying it, but one silly little thing is really bothering me. The remote for the DVD/home theater system was missing when we bought it and you can't do some things without it. I have tried a couple of different universal remotes and that has not worked out well because of the off brand FR put in these things. If any of you have upgraded your home theater system and you think you might want to part with the old one (player and remote), please let me know. -Glenn

Which brand was in yours? I removed mine and put a Samsung sound bar with wireless Sub in mine. Believe I still have the original but mine was a RCA DVD/sound bar and sub.

Hi Jason, mine is a Electrobrand or Memorex (seems those brands are interchangable) model number ST62 STS2891-RV “DVD Home Theater System”. They are not made anymore and therefore you cannot get the remotes for them. I don't have the sound bar either, but I do have the sub.

Hi Jason; mine is a Memorex without sound bar also. I have been wanting to upgrade it to a unit with HDMI output. The problem is that Id have to by a Home Theater unit with speakers that I would not use. The Home Theater systems can be gotten for as little as $129, however. Check out the Sony link.......

The other alternative would be to install a AV unit with a separate DVD player. Was wondering if anyone else has replaced theirs.

Need DVD player

We had to turn are head to watch tv. So what I did was move tv so we could watch it easer. But the speakers did work so we bought a Vizo sound bar. But in order to see tv better we took out the love seat and make a storage cabinet in its place ran a HMDI cable from the tv cabinet down to basement over to the first bay up and thru the slide to new tv. Wasn't a easy job but we like it.

I have the original DVD unit but I also have a blue ray hooked up to tv. Yes the sound from blue ray only comes out of tv but I'm ok with that because I moved tv so I would not have to turn to watch tv. Click image for larger version

Glenn,

Have you considered contacting the Diesel Division direct? the 2016-2017 units have a blue-ray unit with a Bluetooth soundbar. Who knows, maybe the factory will sell you the parts?

Hi Bob, yep, I did contact them and it was price prohibitive for no more often than we actually watch movies. What I am looking for (and actually have now found) is someone that upgraded their and had their old one sitting on the shelf gathering dust. I am not really an "audiophile" or movie fanatic, just want to be able to do the basic stuff. -Glenn

Hey Outloud, you have the seats that I want to get to replace my L-shaped couch. Could you give me some info?
