I know!
I have the arc50, and the manual comes on a USB stick!

Thanks for the suggestions. With the flexibility of this controller I'll set the charge rate at 30% when I'm connected to shore power. On travel days when I use the inverter and the generator to run A/C I'll probably bump it up to 50% to make sure I maintain battery power.

Lowered mine down to 50%... even at a lower rate it still charges @65A!

May go even lower. Although, even at 💯 it wasn't boiling my batts.

If you have 4 x 6V wired in the normal series/parallel configuration ...you have about 425-460 amp hours so lets just say 400 amp hours. MAXIMUM wet cell current acceptance is roughly 25% of C (capacity at the 20 hour rate) which would be 100 amps. THAT is what you SHOULD have as your limit to most efficiently charge your batteries. They will NOT accept any more OR heat up if you use a 200 amp charger with them which is why most charging systems have NO SUCH setting limitation.
What CAN harm is high VOLTAGE at high current but you have a multistage charger so no worries there.
Bottom line... your MM1212 puts out 70 amps MAX...you cannot damage your batteries by setting the charge controller to 100% which is 30 amps less than they can safely absorb.
