New Berkshire owner!

We brought it home yesterday! Our new (to us) 2008 390bh 50. And the good news is, we were able to fit it in the driveway! (There was some doubt! And we had to take off the rock guard).

We're really excited about it, and looking forward to traveling!

Thanks for all the input so far!

Chester and family.

Good luck with it. We are also new Berkshire 40rb owners and so far love it. Took it to South Carolina from Philadelphia two weeks ago and everything went very well.

Thank you all!
Having to replace the house batteries, and that may solve some other minor issues.

But one thing that puzzled me so far: how do I turn on the gas furnace?
I used the thermostat on the wall to select Heat, but the roof hear pump kicked in. If I just want to use the propane furnace how do I select it?

If you keep pushing the mode button on the thermostat, it should cycle through the options available. You should have a/c, heat pump, and furnace. Cycle to the furnace option and that should allow you to use the propane furnace. You usually need to make sure that you are on zone 1 to use that furnace.

You also need to put the fan on "auto".

Congrats on the new Buggy. Now you have to get out and start meeting some Berk owners. We have found everyone to be very helpful and friendly. See you on the road. Frank
