New Carpet

Just had new Carpet installed in my 08 Berkshire. Wow what a difference. They removed all of the metal molding and tucked all the ends under really makes it seem like a house instead of RV. They used 8lb padding instead of the foam making the floor nice and soft. They did it on site and took about eight hours. Great job. I left the origonal Ienolium may do That hardwood later. Jim

I would be interested to hear/see how they installed the carpet around the slides.

Installation took a total of about six hrs. In the front of the coach I had almost everything loose or moved. They rip out the old place it on top of the new and use it as a template. Then re-staple everything. Same with the bedroom. They didn't do under the bed so they had to cut around the frame. Just like in the front they used the old as a template. It is all good quality Mohawk carpet. The pad is 8lb that would be in a home that is covered on top so no liquid get thru. Cost a little over 2 grand. About one grand under a price in had gotten in Tx.
