Most 2008's don't have Diamond Shield, but a 3M product that tends to get mildew behind it. Betting he had the 3M taken off and repainted...

Oh - by the way .... Was standing my my coach today in a parking lot with engine running and guess what - dang steps just opened and closed by themselves a couple of times.... Amazing....

Maybe there's a hidden sensor there that detects someone close by . Like a motion detector for lights.

Amazing but Lippert says there is nothing wrong. They have changed every electrical component on the step and mine still acts up. Someone suggested bad ground so if t ever stops snowing and warms up I will work on that approach. Other than that we might have to file a formal complaint with Government.

I just got sick and tired of the ugly diamond shield with all the discoloration underneath.... Removing and replacing it is around $1,400 and really a pain in the butt...

I had this sprayed on for $600 and it's guaranteed for life with ZERO upkeep...

I think it looks pretty dang cool😀😀😀😀
