Gordon, I am afraid that the thermostatically controlled shower valve may not work very well in the RV. I have such a shower control in my home and it works very well. Because of the tankless heater in the RV, the shower fixture should have two separate controls; one for flow and another for hot and cold water mixing.
Some tankless heaters like the Girard Generation I and II, will not tolerate any cold water mixing.
As I said, it may not work and I may also be wrong on your situation. Good luck though and let us know how it works after the install.
Hank

I'm not too familiar with different kinds of faucets but I have a question.
Is the stock shower control a hot and cold water mixing type?

With the Atwood I have good luck mixing cold water. In fact I turn the water to full hot and as soon as I get hot water I move it to just about half way. Works great.

OC I bought all the fixtures at Lowes. The sinks were 50 each and the bathroom faucets were 54 each. The kitchen faucet was 125 I believe. All in all a fairly Inexpensive upgrade and really makes a difference.
