New Problem With A/C

Went to use Coach the other day and not being to hot I just wanted to use vent (floor and dash),but the AC would come on.When I chose just the dash vent all was good,no AC but when I go to Dash/Floor the AC would come on.Any ideas?

Sure it's not going into defrost mode? Defrost turns on the AC to dry the air out.

I agree. Most likely a defrost mode.

On my old Mirada, I have the same thing. The A/C and heater systems are actually from Evans and Coachman installed them. (I'm not sure about Berkshire)

When I select VENTS, the A/C compressor comes on and air blows through the vents. When I select A/C, same thing.

To resolves this, I added an A/C switch so I can override the compressor regardless of the MODE selected on the controls. The MODE must be in any position other than OFF,

This mod does not override the pressure or freeze switches.

Not defrost mode.No air to windshield.Have control set to dash and floor ,A/C come on,just dash NO A/C.And yes when defrost mode A/C comes on like it is suppose to.So why is it coming on Dash/Floor mode. This is a new 38A that had no problem for First month.
