Nut size on Berk Wheels

Anyone know the size of the lug nuts on the Berks?

I need to buy one to check the torque on them.

22.5 tires?

1-5/16 or 33mm @ 450 foot pounds.

You will likely need a torque multiplier or.

You will never break the nuts free with a conventional torque wrench. I bought this. Works great and comes with socket

Can anyone tell me the easiest way to remove the chrome nut covers on the rear wheels ?

Does it come with an extension long enough to get at the nuts on the rear wheels ?

I have the simulators but a buddy that has the chrome wheels said that they turn off. Have right and left hand threads depending on which side you are on like the old lug nuts 40 years ago. I have never seen it my self.

I miss understood the question. This answer refers to the chrome covers over the rear hubs, not the lugs.

If you have the covers the will be 2 lug nuts on each wheel that will have a "dimple" in them. Those are the only ones that hold the cover on, the rest are fake. I think those ones are 1 5/8" and they don't require to be torqued on, just as snug as you can get them.

I ruined my covers well the two front ones getting them off. Gaffney but them in two years ago and they were impossible to get loose. I tried everything and then decided it was a good excuse to get the aluminum rims I have wanted. The tire shop used the big impact and it was touch and go if they came off or broke. They were so damn tight there was no change if me getting them off with out an big impact driver. The covers don't need to be that tight and when replacing I would use some anti seize.
