There is one like that in the compartment below the drivers seat. It has two 5 amp fuses in the top.

Silver,

Finally took the measurements.

The only pin that shows any voltage (12v) is 85 with the ignition turned to the on position.
All other read zero no matter what position the ignition is.

Hi Kenny,

Ok that is your problem. I think 87a should be +12V all the time. Ether the line to the relay has become disconnected or a hidden fuse is blown. If you put +12V on pin 30 of the relay socket you should be able to close your slides. Again I would jumper it through a fuse for protection. Use a jumper wire, connect to +12V, connect other end to fuse. Take second jumper wire connect to other end of fuse and other end of wire plug in to pin 30 of relay socket. I would use a 20 amp fuse, standard auto type. let me know what happens. I marked up the drawing with what you need to do.

With ignition on pin 85 turns on the relay which disconnects pin 87a causing slides to shut off. That is why it is present when ignition is on.

Hay Kenny,

Don't you read these in the evening? I will be off line for a week if all goes well. Let me know what happens.

I get on briefly on the weekends between the items in my honey-do list.
I will try after I get to the store to buy an inline fuse to use.
Thanks Silver and good luck with the surgery.

Thanks to Silver, I was able to put a jumper to the relay and get the slides to close.

Now I just have to find out why 12volts are not getting to the relay.

Thanks Silver!!! I hope your surgery went well.

Maybe that a wire tone tracer will now work. You can inject the tone at the relay where the 12 volts is supposed to be and trace it to its source.

Don't have one, but have seen telephone guys used them in my home. I hear that Harbor Freight has them.
