One week until blast off.

We start our slow migration South toward Yuma, AZ a week from today. It was 28 degrees at West Yellowstone, MT last night. Brrrrr!! Here at Thayne, WY about 180 miles South of West Yellowstone, we actually had a frost in late July.

Anyhow, from here down to near Canon City, CO for Sept, camping along the Arkansas river in Big Horn Sheep canyon between Canon City and Salida, then over in Moab, UT camping along the mighty Colorado river for part/all of October. Then on to AZ, where the temps will still be in the upper 90's for a couple more weeks.

Full timing is really tough.......... NOT!!

UGH. I was just talking to my wife yesterday about where we were headed come mid-to-late September. I was hoping that Yellowstone wouldn't be TOO cold already.

Yeah, I totally am trying to avoid snow with this year of fulltiming/trip. Might have to reschedule that for next summer.

Likewise to you, sir. Maybe Branson area next year?? I'm even thinking that Goshen might be good for us.

We're headed to San Antonio for part of the winter. In Michigan till Thursday then meandering South for all of September. January we'll start heading to Bonita Springs, FL. Very slowly I might add.

camp host at Red Lodge MT KOA. 65 Miles NE of Yellowstone across the Beartooth. Had a few chilly nights (33 Sunday morning & couple of cool, windy days) Will be leaving Sept 10 for Ozark AL KOA for our winter gig

You took a coach across Beartooth?? That's gutsy!! I went across there in a car back in the mid 90's and was even nervous then.

From the height of the "snow poles" up there I'd say they get some SERIOUS snow over the winter.

Yuma, AZ is a great place. I was there in the Marines and loved my week end trips into the desert. Such a beautiful area !
