OUCH!

Investigated the problem with my Carefree OTD Marquis awning this weekend. The motor end was so mangled I was forced to remove everything except the main housing. This must have been the case when I bought the unit because it really never worked very well.
The bottom line is $1133.00 plus $50.00 for shipping and about $150.00 for installation. OUCH!

It's a pity they have to rip us off; just because they think we're filthy rich.

When I had my last Caddy, the started failed. The identical starter fits in a Chevy. Chevy dealer price - around $200. Caddy dealer price - $600+

What a crock!!

boowho??

We have a Lincoln MKX for a toad. It gets serviced at the Ford dealers.

My otd awning broke after about 20 cycles. In my repair priorities it ranks very low. I've zip tied it.

We're full timers moving constantly and couldn't stand another day of that awning rattling over and over. Kind of like Chinese water torture.
