No. Broke like 2 years ago. I have another crack on the right side too. It doesn't hinder my vision and I actually forget it's there. If I put a new windshield in Murphy's law would kick in and it would get hit by a rock and the crack would go right where I need to see.

Our big Summer trip!
Ran across another Berkshire today! We followed each other for a good 50 miles.
While at Teton today as I was frantically looking for a campsite in the toad the family saw yet another Berkshire towing a Mini Cooper on a trailer. 2 in one day. That's pretty cool!
Our view from our campsite tonight.

Travel Plans
ernest917
Don't know exactly where we will be when, for most of the trip. We are sort of the go with the flow. Try to meet up with friends or hang if we like the spot. The only places I know we will be in mid August (11th-19th) at the Tetons and Jellystone and than up to Grand Falls MT. for a friend meet. As we get closer to dates things firm up. We can exchange private e-mails if you like and stay in touch. Might be fun to hook up. Are you guys fun to be with?

Sounds like an amazing trip!!!
We leave (VA) tomorrow for a week long trip. Stopping tomorrow in NJ at Timberlane Campground then to Moose Hillock RV resort in Lake George NY. We stayed there last year and loved it! I try and keep the traveling to around 4 to 5 hours a day that way we enjoy our selves a little more... Pool, beverages and good food. Stopping at Timberlane on the way home too since it's pretty much right in the middle.

Thanks for response CatRN, here's more details
I had originally planned on spending 7 full days at yellowstone, if that can be shortened without sacrificing too much time to see & do then the number of days for travel increases significantly and leaves some breathing room to stop and smell the roses etc. I was also leaving a couple of days at the end to decompress at home before returning to work. I realized after doing some math that my fallback trip was only 500 miles shorter which translates to 2 days drive time based on our typical vacay travel pace, so since this may be in a once in a lifetimer for the entire family to go I hate to miss yellowstone.
Anybody want to weigh in on 5 full days at yellowstone being enough to enjoy it fully?
Also anybody have some experience with generators? Need to buy one to mount in the truck bed that will power the A/C, hot water heater & lights for us when we do "parking lot" overniters.
Thx!

i wouldn't do Yellowstone with less that 4 days, but if you treat it like a cloverleaf you can hit most of the drivable parts of Yellowstone in that 4 days.

5 day minimum
Would 5 days leave us time to get some hiking in to some of the key destinations?
Thx.

my opinion, no.
we spent a day each doing the four leaves of a clover leaf without any hiking, if you include the trails in the various mud pots, geyers ete and Also hike in the canyon in that yes. If you plan to actually get away from people hiking, then no

No remote hiking planned
The hiking that's part of the park destinations should be sufficient, I have a couple of days buffer so may can extend if needed. Do you think I need to be making reservations now for next June? Also what campgrounds are recommended, KOA outside the park or camp in the park itself....?
Thx again for feedback.

Plenty to see there. Can be done in two days. Three days better. Four days would see most of it well. Unless the big volcano they will tell you about at Old Faithful blows it away you can always go back. We've been there several times. Always seems to see new things each time.
