Very interesting. Would never have thought that not having a filter in place would have caused the issue.

re read it. I believe he said it works good without the filter and with a new filter.

Sounds like the old filter was clogged up.

I could see where a clogged filter greatly diminishing the pressure and the valve not shutting off positively solid.

I experienced this for the first time this week on my drive from CO to TX.
I was driving with about 1/3 tank of fresh water and when I stopped at a rest stop parked on a slope, I noticed spitting out water and air. It hasn't done it since do I'm blaming it on my low water level letting air into the lines.
