Paint Color Identification Help

My Berkshire is the Warm Cashmere (aka 2012). I am trying to get a new water heater door panel painted, which has two the four paint colors of my rig. Myself and a body shop could not identify which two colors the panel has from the paint code chart (see codes pic). They did not understand the paint codes either.

I have enclosed the paint codes and picture of the heater panel along with a picture of my four colors.

I appreciate if anyone could identify the water heater door colors and also the FR paint shop, should I need to call them. Thank you in advance!
Hank

I looked real quick on the sikkins web site. Looks like they have a color locator. Maybe there is a way to
Input color code and see a sample picture. This may help in figuring out what code belongs to what color. Good luck.

We took our heater cover to an automobile paint supplier and they matched it perfectly using their computer.

I'd think the codes you showed should be sufficient, but if you'll call Mitch Wirt at the Berkshire plant, he should be able to help you. It will help to give him the last seven digits of your VIN. You can get Mitch at (574) 295-2117.

Thank you, Bob. I know that our forum is a great resource and thought I try that first, rather then bothering the FR customer service. I will call Mitch if I don't get some good answers, however.

I did Google searches on "universal paint code 62(d)" and on "spiral gray paint" under "images," and it appears to me that it's the paint used on your door. Monitors can show different colors, but it looks to me like a pretty close match.

I am painting a new WH door today for my Legacy. I took a picture of my Sikkens color chart, and a picture of my door to a local PPG automotive paint supplier, they matched it easily and I was able to buy .5 pint quanities of each color.

Did the first base coat an hour ago, came out perfect.

I just upgraded to the newest Girard tankless WH and of course the door is different.

captnrick3 - Good advice. I have my panel into a paint shop and will probably be a lot more costly. How do you like the operation of the Girard Gen III. I can't believe how quite it is. It didn't like my pulsating MH pump however. I played with it and got the pulsating to stop. I replaced the Gen I, how about you?
