Pulled into our camping area this evening and noticed a leak in the rear of the vehicle near the transmission. Please let me know what the item is in the attached photo.

Looks like this trip will end tomorrow.....Thanks for you help...
Why should it end, Find a Kenworth or Cummins shop and have it replaced it is part of normal maintenance.

This is one of your more messy diy projects. The fuel separator/filter is best changed by a shop. When you unscrew the filter, diesel fuel will spill, and you should replace with a filter that you have already filled with diesel fuel. Its about 10 minutes of messy work.
Yep, diesel fuel filter/water separator. Find a local truck stop, often they know of a nearby truck shop that does maintenance on Sunday. As stated, it's an easy ten minute fix.
Thanks everyone for your quick response. This has to be the best forum to be a member of. Once again thanks for all of your help.
So are we fixed and running now?

Made it home and it stopped leaking, but I plan to replace the filter this weekend. Looks like it will be a messy job. The new filter looks smaller in height.
