Looks kind of like a fuel/water separator.

Why should it end, Find a Kenworth or Cummins shop and have it replaced it is part of normal maintenance.

It is the fuel water separator filter. Is it leaking at the metal (yellow) or the plastic bowl?

Most truck shops will have a replacement filter.

When you get home buy a spare filter and bowl assembly for theses momments.

Did you try to tighten it up?

Appears to be the fuel filter. Where exactly is it leaking? You may be able to tighten it up by turning it clockwise.

This is one of your more messy diy projects. The fuel separator/filter is best changed by a shop. When you unscrew the filter, diesel fuel will spill, and you should replace with a filter that you have already filled with diesel fuel. Its about 10 minutes of messy work.

Yep, diesel fuel filter/water separator. Find a local truck stop, often they know of a nearby truck shop that does maintenance on Sunday. As stated, it's an easy ten minute fix.

Made it home and it stopped leaking, but I plan to replace the filter this weekend. Looks like it will be a messy job. The new filter looks smaller in height.
