Poor table design

Just finished repairing the table on my 2011 Berkshire. I replaced the screws that hold the table to the bracket with 1.5 "ss screws predrilled the holes and used wood glue to make it hold. I also added two extra screws. I am confident it will hold. I also fixed the trim piece on top of the table that covers the hole against the wall. That piece is made of a wood like material more like cheap cardboard. My two year old grandson ripped it off the Wall and slept with the screws all night. Very scary and glad he didn't swallow them. Everyone that has small children should check this. I cut a piece of oak and stained it to match. It will not come off. It seems like a lot of work to do on a new coach but did not trust the fix the dealer would do replacing the same pos that came with it.

Ok here are some pictures of the table fix. The trim piece I will redo when I have more time but for now it works.
