Power cord plug

The molded male power cord plug on my power cord is separating from the cord. Has any one been able to glue it back on successfully or replaced it with an after market 50 amp plug. I am concerned the after market plugs will not pass through the port in the floor of the power cord storage compartment because of the molded handle. Please advise

Ours did the same thing. Did replace it with a yellow one with a handle. solved the problem with passing it thru the hole by replacing the hole cover with a larger one just like the sewer hole. Works fine and having the handle makes it easy to unplug etc.
