Don't know where the other MH owners are...

Isn't there a 7 pin plug at the rear of the MH for the towed dinghy? The pin out should be marked right on it. Look for DC voltage on the brake wire terminal with a multimeter.

Not sure what the 390bd is. Mine is a 390bh and there is a 7 pin plug on mine. Wasn't sure what the op meant when he asked if it was pre-wired for electric brakes. Maybe someone who has a toad can answer the question.

Well I don't even know what I bought sorry for the confusion. It is a 390RB and I will pick it up May 4th. I will check for voltage then. What I am trying to figure out is what to tow and how to do it. We have a Chevy Uplander now ,my wifes car and not sure I want to buy a dolly for that as I need a new car for me. I think I would like to flat tow.I found a deal on a do;y but it has elect brakes so that was why I was asking.
There is a lot to learn about this and thanks for the help.

Yes. Berkshire is prewired however you will need a break controler. When you get your rig you will fins a cable harnes under the dash to the right of the steering wheel. These are the break wires. The controles is connected here.

If you flat tow there are break assists that go in the car that do not need to be wired to the motorhole. Go to the Road Master home page and you can see info ion tow bars and breaks
