I visited a friend who just took delivery of a new Tiffin Phaeton. They supply Maytag residential freezer/refrigerator made by Whirlpool. The latch they included to hold doors shut are the same as the cabinet drawer latches FR supply's that is interesting.

Joe it's an issue with all residential fridges. The multi fuel fridges have a lock built into them that lock when the engine starts. Nice but not available on the residential units. I saw this fix simple and cheap that another manufacturer was putting on there MH. Most give you a bungee that works ok but not great. I haven't done this but I can't imagine it would take more than 20 minutes or so. Make sure you use a bit of silicone behind the plate.

All of the above are correct and the Freezer door lock can also be added to the side! I cant believe that High end MHs would come with (Bungee Cords/Tarp Straps) for travel locks! Use these locks they are the (Real Deal)! Youroo!!
