Hmmm....only thing I know to do, then, is to check the wiring and be sure there's a current going to the battery when the lights of the TV are on and it's connected. I usually go 2-3 days without starting the toad when we're headed out to somewhere to stay awhile and never had a problem. Possibly you're got a bad connection where the charging wire ties into the toad light wiring?

Are you referring to the running lights on your toad? Mine stay off with the wiring even though my truck had running lights. I have ignition off and keep it in park while towing.

CT, running lights are on the coach in turn the rear lights of the toad are on also. In park? Or neutral?

My Berk has running lights on but never on for toad. Only time rear lights are on are with parking lights and / or brake (exhaust brake included). Let me see if I can find my wiring diagram. I would bet you're drawing more power than the system is putting in. Doesn't make too much sense because I've done a lot of night driving without any battery issues.
