Roof maintenance

Curious what people use to keep moisture in their roof. I've heard of people using the marine 303. Anyone have any good ideas on what's the best? Thanks!

I use 303 on mine. It seems to work fine although I have no idea how you can tell if it working or not. I give it a good wash a couple of time a year and put the 303 on with a rag.

Phil one way of knowing it works is you will see less of those white stripes coming down the outside walls from the roof.

I use 303 also.

I maybe should do it more often as mine is in the sun always.
Also for some that see the above post there are lots of different types of roofs. Berkshires have a fiberglass roof and the rubber roof products should not be used in them.

I sure wish these posters would look to see what section they are in before posting. It gives out misinformation most of the time.

Rejex is also good to use on the roof.

We use the 303 on whitewater rafts. Best sunscreen out there for PVC. Don't overdo it though, as too many applications in a year will soften the PVC coated fabric used on the rafts. Not sure what the roof material is though.
