Service extras

We have had several of the stock register covers break. If they get stepped on the fins break. So I kept forgetting to stop and buy one. My lovely wife reminded me as we were close to CW so I stopped and got one. I went to put replace it and the doggone thing was new. The guys working on my MH last month replaced it. I didn't ask and they didn't tell me.
That kind of service means a lot. Thanks guys!

That was a big deal breaker for me on several coaches that we looked at. The fact that a coach builder would put their heat registers right down the middle of the coach where they will always be stepped on. The wheel has been reinvented coach builders, move them off to the side out of the way!

That's one of the small ( but important ) things I liked about the Berkshire.

I thought I was the only one who broke those. I just ordered three. The Cummins and Freightliner guys had big feet.

I bought the replacement at CW. The new one had a shut off. Nice for in the half bath. It gets to warm in there. Also the ones from CW are heavyweight and I haven't broken one.

Phil, just one on the floor on my floor plan and it is metal. I also had the factory fix some things that I didn't ask for that they must have seen. Once again...top notch service.

That was one huge improvement that Berkshire did in 2012 was to remove the central heat registers. I found from past experience that they are terrible for subbing toes and collecting garbage.

In 2012.vents were moved under the loveseat and along the hallway wall

Hate to be barrier of bad news but ours still has 2 floor registers in bedroom one on each side of bed. Step on them every time I walk around bed. I do think the 2016 models was moved more under bed out of foot traffic.

I bought some flat, magnetic sheet (the stuff that many business use when they send out their advertising magnet) that I hot glued some extra carpet to. The magnetic sheet holds the carpet to the register and I don't have a problem when I step on it!
