Slideout cover opens in wind & while driving

I'm attaching 2 photos, so some of you can see what I have for slide out covers. The 2 covers up front, LH & RH sides both unroll while driving down the highway. What can I do to alleviate the situation?

As you can see in my signature line, I have a 2014 400QL

Thanks, Ernie

I installed metal covers from Carefree and not a problem since...knock on wood. They know about the problem and paid for the parts, I installed them...no issues there. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. Now, what is the best way to contact Carefree?

You need the anti-billowing arms/brackets installed.
They keep the topper from unrolling when the slide is in the closed position.

If you are talking about slideout covers, we ended up putting metal full length covers on ours (Carefree) and that has cured it even though we’ve traveled in a number of high wind trips.

I had a Dometec slide topper installed by my dealer. I wish I had ordered and installed myself. I didn't really get what I wanted.
A couple weeks ago I installed the anti billowing device in a very short time. I now have peace of mind. Bought from Dyers RV parts.

I had the same problem on my Georgetown 31L5.

My dealer tried two simple and inexpensive solutions:

1. First try: Roll the spring one more revolution. Didn't work.
2. Second try: Add a layer of (some kind of) tape to the leading edge of the cover. That worked.

We had the topper come out in the wind on the road. We have the arms but it still came out and the noise scared the crap out of us. We were towing a trailer at the time.
