Thank you for the information. The model that I have is a 40 foot Berkshire 390QS. I am looking for the part numbers on the swing gear for the step. The motor is in good shape but the swing gear has teeth down to knobbies. I checked with local RV parts dealers and they require the step type part number which is located under the step. Unfortunately the part number for the step is missing. It is a one step plateform.

Funny: Maybe you should take a couple pages and explain to Bissal your step story Ernest?

I STRONGLY suggest that the best approach is to FIRST get under there and look for numbers. We all know that year and model mean a lot less in this business than the auto business when it comes to identifying parts.
