Depending on the size, I would have figured you could hang the box in one of the basement storages. It still takes up space in storage, but at least it's dedicated space.
Though, at that point it's not much different than throwing it in a tote.

Correct Tom - it bolts on the underside to the frame.
Now, nothing would stop you from just putting it in the basement however, it is ruggedized to withstand road debris. It would be overkill in a basement - I'd opt for a large steralite plastic tote instead.

Bob,
That is what I currently do- store everything in a large plastic container. Very easy to put everything away.

I currently use a plastic storage bin to put everything in but would love to figure out something better, more efficient

Some of us have a storage compartment in the wet bay however the Rhino doesn't fit. I'll post a picture later but it is a black square plastic cap.

Rhinoflex does require some care. They do have gaskets, you cam buy on Amazon. Replace them.

Our 2012 Berkshire has a compartment in the wet bay. It had a small opening, but if you feel inside it is much larger area. I took a saw and enlarged the opening. I am able to fit a 10' dominator sewer hose in it now. I store a back up in a small tote in the basement. Very easy mod. Hope that helps someone.

And make sure the rubber seal is in place. Last trip I made I hooked up a 5 footer that I hadn't used and when I dumped the gray water I saw I was leaking on the dump valve side. The rubber gasket was missing.

I cut it a few inches wider and about 12" longer. I can fit the entire hose and both elbows in that compartment now. Prior to me cutting it a bit larger it was useless.

Great idea, can you attach a pic?
Is there enough room to store the head (on/off) valve of the Lippert system?

I store this set up and an extra elbow for the attachment to the coach. Put your hand in the small opening and you will see how much room is in there. My coach is in storage so I can't get pics for a while.

I doubt there is room to store the head of the Lippert system. I have that as well and it is a pain to store. I live the system. I store mine in the water bay with the hose tucked behind the filter housing.
