Surround Sound
A GIANT high-five to "Gottawonder".. He came and spent a few hours helping me hook up a receiver and my surround sound.... WOW!!! What a difference it makes to hear things through 8 speakers instead of just the TV speakers...
We now know it works!!!!! I'll need to switch out the receiver with one that has a remote so I can control the volume but that's an easy fix...
Again - super THANKS my friend!!!!

Are you talking about the factory unit, or did you install an after market AV unit?

When I bought my Berkshire, the previous owner took the stereo receiver with him.... In addition, he cut all the speaker wires that connected to the receiver and left them all taped together in the forward cabinet.... Obviously, this meant that I had surround sound speakers that no longer worked....
We brought in a receiver and hooked up all the speaker wires and SURROUND SOUND !!!!
I will need to replace the receiver with a stereo receiver with a remote so I can control the volume because with the current one, down isn't down enough... BUT it rock my Berk.....

I can finally hear the TV without cranking it up.... Actually have true surround sound which is nice with some of theses new movies....

It keeps getting better - just worked a deal on a Yamaha surround sound 5.1 receiver with a remote.... Now need to get it hooked up and I'm finally in business ....
