Tail Drags - What to do?

Hello,

Our new 2011 Berkshire 360FWS tail drags when going over a slow dip, such as entering a driveway from the road. The tow bar brackets hit the ground pinching the mud guard/stone guard between the tow bar brackets and the ground. There was so much foce on one ocassion that the quick link straightened out and I had to remove the mud guard on the side of the road.

A friend suggested adding rollers as some folks do on their fith wheels. Has anyone done this or seen this done?

Thanks,

Fred

Reading your post reminds me of something I saw at a campground
in Moab UT last June.
Late in the evening just before dark a big motor home pulled in.
I think it was a Pantheon(sp?) or something like that.
As soon as I saw it I knew he was doing something wrong.
It looked like one of those "low rider" cars you see on the strip.
He stopped at the office to check on a site and his steps extended
right into the gravel. When he pulled away I could see his
rear mud flap was dragging all the time and it was worn half
off at the bottom.
After he parked I moseyed over there and just sort of inquired if
it was a new motor-home. He said he'd borrowed it from a friend
just yesterday. I suggested that he was driving with the air
suspension off or in the wrong position and that it would be a real
good idea if he called his friend and asked him how to set the
suspension for the road before he left.

I donno if he called or not because he was gone by the time we
got up in the morning.

I don't suppose you are driving with your suspension in park
mode are you?
