Tankless water heater

Any reason why our tankless water heater isn't turning on. We flip the switch on the outside heater and nothing. We ha hot water this morning and now nothing. It is really rainy here in Maryland today, could something have gotten wet?

Tankless water heater

Is the propane on? Is the temperature control knob on like 10%? If it's on to high it just cycles on you get noting. I have mine set for the shower so you have to use mostly hot water and the shower is perfect. So set the dial in the medicine cabinet to cold the turn to just about 5% or 10%. That's what works for us. Another thread in here talked about air pockets and a reset, might search for that as well...

We called girard and fixed the problem. A little button needed reset. Never would have found it on our own.

In the heater kind of in the back left it's a little white button.

The propane was off but wasn't kicking on. My husband dealt with the tech on the phone. It was quite a relief. With our slide stuck in we didn't want to go hot waterless for the next week and a half.

My generation 2 water heater kept tripping the overheat button (white button) for no apparent reason. At the rally Girard changed the button assembly and said they had a bad batch of buttons. You might have one of those. Easy to change and they will send you a replacement if it keeps tripping. Thought this might help.
