Thermostat - sensitivity

On our last trip, we set the heat to come on about 65 or so. The furnace works well - incredibly well. Heats the coach right up. The thermostat however, seems too sensitive. It will turn on the heat, then once it's off and the temp cools a degree or so, it turns the heat back on. I guess what I'm saying is I'd like the thermostat to allow a little more temperature swing before restarting the heat. It starting coming on so often, I had to turn it off to get some sleep! Anyone know of a way to "help" the thermostat do that?

If its the same t-stat as we have in our GT 378 then the way use enter the setup mode is.
1. Turn the system off.
2. Press the + and - buttons and hold for 5 sec this the system into setup mode. Then you can adjust the variance of I believe 2 to 4 degrees then you are set. Should have been set at 2 degree or maybe 1 degree if its cycling like you are mentioning.
Hope this helps and happy trails.
Ours in made by dometic and if need be check there website and they have operating manuals there you can download.

ramair - we have a Dometic Duo-Therm. I have the little manual that came with it but it has nothing like you're referring to. I'll look online to see if there is a more comprehensive manual. Thanks for the suggestion and I'll try what you indicated!
