Tire pressure on toad car

I noticed my pressure and temperature on the right front tire ran higher than the other tires. I would check it and realized the exhaust pipe from my DP was causing the problem. I turned exhaust tip outward to attempt to lesson the heat it was generating. Didn't fix it totally, but helped. I suggest that if you are not using pressure and temperature sensors to do so, otherwise I would have never known and could have had a mess.

My right front tire gets a bit warmer then the rest, maybe a pound or two and maybe 3 degress warmer.

IMHO, a TPMS is an absolute necessity.

I'm not understanding which exhaust pipe you are referring to?

If you have a new coach, there is no way the exhaust is causing the temp to increase while driving down the road.... Just don't see it happening.

I have not noticed a difference in temps, but I will be watching closely on my next outing.

I would suggest you check that front TOAD tire for wear. While I guess the exhaust could be close enough to the tire to give you a temperature rise, it just doesn't seem probable. Sounds more like maybe the toad is dragging that tire a bit, causing the temp to rise. Could be alignment, a bad wheel bearing or brakes dragging.

I don't know where your exhaust (tail pipe) is in relationship to the right front tire of the toad, but I find it almost impossible that it would raise the tire temp noticeably. 5 degrees MAYBE. What is the exact temps on the two front tires?

I have to believe that the tire is at LEAST a couple feet away from the toads tire? At that point the exhaust gases would be well under 150 degrees. Moving on the highway, I would bet it is not much more than ambient. So the tire might increase to the stable temp a bit faster, but wouldn't surpass the others by more than a couple degrees. (when moving).
