I have been flat towing Ford sport trac's since 2003. Ford makes a neutral tow switch that disengages the tranny allowing you to tow. F150 is a little larger and heavier but I bet you would still be fine provided you can get the NTS for your model.

You need to look at your tires on Moho Michelin tires can go 75 but that is the max speed. Look at the tires it saids max speed. I have 275 80r-22. And a Jeep Wrangler there is the procedure for towing and no need to put key in or pull fuses just hook up and tow.

I almost missed it in the OP also. He did say he has the larger engine and transmission which I assume to mean at least a 360 horsepower engine and 2500 transmission.

Typically, the Allison 2500 has come with the 340 engine. The engine is not a problem, but as I stated earlier, the 2500 is rated to pull 33,000lbs. max. Also as many of us has stated in many threads, it is wise to weigh your loaded MH and toad.

Just a small correction. If you have the 360hp engine you should have the heavier duty Allison 3000 transmission. The 2500 transmission is in the coaches with the 340hp engine.
