Toilet Noise

I'm having a problem with my toilet and/or black tank in my 2011 Berk. We purchased this coach used in 2013. For a few months everything worked fine. Then I started having a minor problem when flushing the toilet. The toilet started making a "burping sound" and there is a popping sound when opening the valve to flush, like there is a vacuum built up. I can also hear a bubbly sound after flushing the toilet. Almost like air in the lines. This is a new toilet and black tank that was just recently installed but the popping sound when flushing also did it with the old tank and toilet. Also, it does not do this all the time. I've tried running a hose down the vent pipe but it has not helped. I have not tried snaking it yet. Has anyone had this type problem or have any suggestions on a fix? Thanks

I've not had the problem but I might try putting a hose in the vent tube that goes through the roof and see if it fills your black tank with water or does the water go someplace else... My guess is not a lot of water will show if the vent stack has issues or not... If all goes well then it showed nothing and sorry for the time spent

My guess is that it's a direct route from the toilet to the tank and when water passes down and air passes up you get the bubbly affect or gurgling noise... Sounds like a clogged line somewhere.

What Berk do you have? Are you talking about the foot peddle flush out the one in the RB that has the pump?

I have a 2011 Berk with a foot peddle flush out. No other toilet in the coach.

The only time I ever heard any noise or bubbling from mine was when I let it get too full once. Other than than I would suggest you check the vent line.
